Terms of Service

Welcome to AV Skin & Scalp Spa. By booking a service, visiting our location, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Offered

AV Skin & Scalp Spa specializes in holistic beauty and wellness services, including:

  • Facials – Signature (60 min), Deluxe (75 min), and Platinum (90 min)

  • Japanese Head Spa – A specialty scalp treatment with massage, steam, and cleansing

  • Massage for Women – Light to moderate pressure massage for relaxation and tension relief

All services are by appointment only and include a consultation to ensure your experience is personalized and safe.

2. Client Expectations

We maintain a calm, hygienic, and professional environment. Please:

  • Arrive on time to receive your full treatment

  • Disclose any health conditions, allergies, or medications

  • Understand that late arrivals may result in shortened sessions

​

3. Age & Health Restrictions

  • Clients under 18 require parental consent; under 16 must have a guardian present

  • We may decline services due to certain conditions (e.g., skin infections, recent surgeries, pregnancy in 1st trimester)

  • We cannot offer Japanese Head Spa to clients with hair extensions, wigs, weaves, or braids

4. Booking & Payment

  • A deposit payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment

  • Payment is securely processed online

  • You may reschedule with 24+ hours’ notice to transfer your payment

  • Cancellations under 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable

​

5. Late & Cancellation Policy

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their appointment

  • Cancellations <24 hours: 50% fee

  • No-shows: 100% fee

  • Exceptions may be made for emergencies or illness (please call/email)

6. Gift Card & Voucher Policy

  • No refunds on gift cards, vouchers, or prepaid packages

  • Gift cards are valid for one year and redeemable for all services

  • They are transferable but cannot be redeemed for cash

  • You must present the physical or digital card at the time of service

​

7. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service in cases of:

  • Illness or contagious conditions

  • Repeated cancellations/no-shows

  • Inappropriate behavior or disrespect toward staff

  • Failure to follow spa policies

8. Service & Pricing Changes

We strive for accuracy, but services and pricing may be updated at any time. If a booked service becomes unavailable or an error occurs (e.g., double-booking or price discrepancy), we will contact you to resolve it promptly and fairly.

9. Consent Forms & Waivers

Certain treatments (e.g., peels, advanced facials, Japanese Head Spa) require signed consent forms. These will outline the procedure, risks, and confirm your health history.
